Do you struggle with what to gift people at Christmas or Birthdays? Do you want to gift something inexpensive yet meaningful?

A Year of Activities Jar is an imaginative and creative way to gift someone special. If you love making things personal and not buying the usual “stuff” that often gets returned and re-gifted, the activity jar is perfect.

This personalised family fun jar is packed with 24 notes, each with a creative or adventurous activity idea for either the whole family or perhaps a date with Grandma or just Daddy. The idea is to pick out a note on the first day of each month and complete the activity within that month.

All notes are white on the reverse to give an element of surprise and on the front are colour coded into four groups;

Blue notes – Involve outdoor activities

Peach notes – Involve food activities

Red notes – Involve exploring places / sightseeing

Yellow notes – Involve activities at home

There are also 12 blank coloured notes for you to write your own activities. Each note measures 70mm x 50mm and has been printed onto 100gsm uncoated paper that can be folded.

Free personalisation – just email us at info@lifewithpetals after order has been placed with the name you wish to add. If no name is emailed the jar will say ‘A Year of Activities Jar’.

Little note from Sharan;

A couple of years ago I struggled to find meaningful gifts for my girls. They had enough Lego, Barbie dolls and board games and didn’t need anymore. I was looking for a gift that would bring us together as a family, a gift that would create some great memories.

So I made a jar and filled it with a mixture of notes containing different activities; some that we do anyway, others were new that we hadn’t done before. The girls were over the moon with their present and they couldn’t wait for January 1st for them to pick out an activity.

One of their favourite notes was the one that said ‘Sunday Brunch with Daddy’ – sometimes we forget the power of having dates with our children and building the one on one relationship. As a family it definitely made us closer as we looked forward to the activity of the month and eagerly put it into our diaries.

It’s a great way to create fond new memories and those special moments.
